Estanterías Récord was set up in Granada in 1978. Originally the company specialised in small household shelving units and miscellaneous metalwork jobs. It became clear that the way forward was to focus on a market with major potential: the logistics storage sector.

Then began the current stage in the company's development: competition for a higher market share, as a result of its entrepreneurial management policies.

Recent milestone:

1992		Automated production lines acquired.
1995		Pallet-loading systems launched. Spanish sales network consolidated.
1996		Madrid branch opens.
1997		New industrial shelving product lines launched.
1998		Technological investment and first renewal plan.
2000		Joins the FEM, AEM and AEFEM.
2001		ISO 9001 certificate obtained. SAM Project (Maximun Attention System). Renewal of the corporative image which displays the modernity and stability of the company
2002		SAP R/3 implementation project completed. Development of cutting-edge technological tools. 3D simulators for stresses and resistance in 3D structures. Modular mezzanine and, locker and wardobe product line launched
2006		Geografical network consolidated. Second invesment and technological renewal plan to increase production. New market shares. Client Zone development in corporative website
